Has UA's Stoops lost his mind??

Mike Stoops, the head football coach at the UA, is now claiming that ASU has lower admissions requirements than the UA. That must be why ASU went to the Holiday Bowl and the UA went to the toilet bowl. Maybe Coach Stoops needs to spend more time worrying about his football team and less time worrying about ASUs recruits, or else the Athletic Director for the UA will find somebody who will worry about the team. The last time I checked both schools must follow the NCAAs rules for admission and eligibility. Stoops has been an utter failure as a coach in Tucson and now wants to put the blame on ASU. Until the UA fans and alumni have had all they can take of mediocrity then the UA football program will be meaningless.  I know Stoops had nothing when he arrived in Tucson but when will he no longer get a pass because of that. Stoops is a bad head coach and needs to go.  Go Devils

Some Passing Thoughts

With McCain winning the Florida primary and gaining momentum I can
not understand what has happened to the Republican Party? John McCain
has proven himself to be nothing more than a closet liberal with his
stance on the Illegal Immigration problem, his willingness to
restrict our free speech through campaign finance reform, and his
support for a bad energy plan that would only cost American citizens
more money. His opponent isn't any better. He was a Pro-Choice
candidate when he needed to be one to get elected and was the
Governor of Massachusetts during a large tax increase. What has
happened to the Reagan Republican ideals? As a Republican I believe
we deserve to loose the White House and the Congress if we can not
get back to our conservative roots. We must get back to a small
government and low taxes. These are the things that allowed our
economy to thrive. These are the things that differentiate the
Republicans from the free spending Democrats.

On a less serious note the baseball season is nearly here. The
pitchers and catchers will begin reporting in a couple weeks,
February 15th for the DBacks, and the rest of the players a week
later. I can't wait. The National League West looks to be ripe for
the DBacks to pick again. Their starting rotation looks better that
last year with the addition of Harden and the offense ought to
improve with a year of seasoning for the young players. The rest of
the NL West only improved marginally if at all.

Our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen in Iraq

Remember Them

As we enter into the holiday season try to remember the men and women serving in Iraq. They are their because we asked them to go and sacrifice their time with their families and for some their lives. I served in the US Army and know how espescialy difficult this time of can be while doing a difficult job a long way from hame and the ones you love. If you can send Christmass card or maybe even a small package to these men and women to let them know we care and appreciate their service. These things can go a long way toward making this holiday season more bearable.

Whats wrong with the Democratic party

Whats wrong with the Democratic party

The problem with the Democratic Party is very simple and can be summed up with two words, their leadership. The Democrats have been hijacked by Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand, Sean Penn, Janeane Garafalo, etc… . These people are not in touch with the average Democrat. They don’t even want to know the average Democrat. They think they are they are the educated left, the so-called intelligentsia. As long as the Democrats are controlled by the Hollywood left and the intelligentsia of our country they will never again gain control of the White House.
